We will be having a regular debate next Monday, regarding on the topic of peace, security and reunification on the Korean peninsula. This willl be of particular interest to the two Koreas, prominently represented at AberMUN. The UN General Assembly discussed the matter a few weeks ago, and a link to a summary of the debate is provided below. In the interest of good debate however, I hope the US is willing to throw out a few curveballs regarding communism in the true style of Senator McCarthy. Meeting is as usual in the Library Seminar Room at 6PM.

I’m pleased to announce that we have been allocated countries and committees for LIMUN 2008. Excellent as these countries are, I will not tell you which countries until the meeting next Monday – that way I hope to get the numbers up for that session, especially since several of you have yet to pay the £20 delegate fee for LIMUN. Let me remind you that I have personally paid the fee for you, and I am setting a deadline for payments for 7 December, which is when I go home for Christmas.
