2010/2011 – Here we come!

The sun is rising over a transforming world. International conflict, economic crises, climate change and shortages of energy, water and food threaten the very foundations of human existence. But have no fear – a new AberMUN committee is elected!

Over the next year we will be working hard to keep the spirit of the United Nations alive on our campus – through weekly Model UN meetings, trips to conferences around the UK and Europe and of course through our own conference, here in Aberystwyth:

Join our weekly meetings and step into the shoes of a diplomat! You can find us Tuesdays at 8pm in the Library Seminar room, where we will be debating various topics in a UN setting.

Represent Aberystwyth University at Model UN conferences across Europe and the World! We will begin forming delegations in October for various conferences in 2010 and 2011.

Take part in AberMUN 2010. In December the International Politics Department will set the stage for the second annual Aberystwyth Model United Nations conference. With around 80 delegates from Universities across the UK and the European continent…

So whether you are completely new to the exciting world of Model United Nations or an old fox looking for new challenges – Aberystwyth MUN Society is the place to be!
